Strasburg Children Clothier, has been in business going on sixteen years now. They offer a wide range of beautifully, hand crafted, suits for boys, sun dresses for girls with matching accessories, in addition too a large variety of miniature bride dresses or first communion dresses. My experiences with their company has only been the best experience. Their clothing lasts generations, and the looks are priceless. I have five granddaughters. My granddaughter Kaelyn, absolutely loves Strasburg dresses and purses. Each dress is precisely tailored, and you can tell that the craftsmen behind the garments, really take their time into making each garment look perfect. You can also tell that they take pride in their craftsmanship, a rare characteristic in the fast pace world of seasonal retail.

Starsburg use timeless, classic patterns. Last year I bought a lovely sun dress for Kaelyn. It was a beautiful red and white checkerboard pattern, and the fabric was seersucker cotton . The top-front part of the dress was, slightly gathered, in an all white, machine-spun, cotton. Through out the gaps in the gathering material, they hand-sewn little wedges of watermelon slices, and trailing the slices were tiny, black ants. It was simply adorable. To top the dress off, I purchased some of the really great accessories that were designed to go with the dress. I bought two matching hair bows, a pair of socks with ants sewn all around the laced edging, and a matching purse that was made to take the abuse of a eight year child.

I get tired of purchasing, average priced, clothing for the girls, only to have it fall apart in the bag, before I get it home to them! One thing about Strasburg clothing is it is not so "reasonably priced," but, it will last a very long time. You get what you pay for with them. I would have to say that most people might consider Strasburg clothing expensive. However, with five girls, how can we afford buying each one of them new dresses every year. We can't. So it is nice to be able to purchase a timeless classic, which we know will work for the next kid at Christmas time, Easter or whenever a dress is needed. Clothes these days aren't made to last, except for Strasburg garments. It just doesn't make any sense to me to continue too purchase less expensive items, when I can buy something at Strasburg, which not only one granddaughter can wear, but several granddaughters will wear and enjoy!
