The wonderful thing about environmental causes is that, acquiring enough initiative to begin your own conservation projects, can begin at anytime. What makes conservation such an easy cause to commit to, is it doesn't take gigantic efforts to begin helping planet earth. But with a tree, it is something that will be in your yard for them and all to see for a lifetime. And..., why not get'em something they will be sure to enjoy for a lifetime? I think it is a great way to show a child that they belong there.
